Top Conwy Golf Club Hotel Reviews
The Erskine Arms
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice room except no lift, Centrally located near the Conwy Castle and easy walk around the town. Breakfast was delicious and they serve dinner in their restaurant downstairs and very good food. Book a table since they do get busy in season."
The Castle Hotel, Conwy, North Wales
10/10 Excellent
"Perfectly located central hotel with loads of character and charm and parking too! The staff are so friendly and helpful and really went that bit extra to make the stay more enjoyable. Sunday roast was very tasty and our waitress was outstanding. If you have a big car you will need to use the hotel carpark across the road as to access the rear car park you have to go through a very narrow archway. Room was very comfy and well furnished although if you are road facing you may get a bit of noise in the morning but that wasn't an issue for us."
Conwy town cottage sleeps 4 + cot, fast WIFI , private enclosed courtyard
10/10 Excellent
"This home and town were so wonderful and lovely, I couldn’t even say it in words! The host was so kind, communicative and extremely helpful. She even left us a pint of Welsh milk in the fridge! It was a short walk from the train station and everything we needed in town, as well as a short walk to the harbor where you can see the sea and have your pick of many boat cruises to see marine life and more. The home was very clean and had a beautiful little patio outside to relax and take in the nice weather. I liked that she had recycling bins, too, and compost! We slept very well and the shower was wonderful. The home had everything we needed. I cannot say enough good things about this home and host and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. "
Havens End
10/10 Excellent
"An absolute gem in a fantastic medieval town. This was our second time in Conwy, but with teen children now, and the cottage was perfect. Lots of spaces to spread out and have a little personal time in the middle of a long trip, excellent bedrooms and bathroom, a beautiful kitchen with all the amenities, and even a washing machine for clothes. The back patio against the old medieval wall was a special evening treat for drinks and relaxing, and we got to watch a mother pigeon protect her chicks in their little wall nest while father pigeon messed with the crows. Parking was tight and a bit nerve wracking, requiring me to reverse up the narrow street between parked cars, but by that point I was used to this feature of the UK."
Y Capel
8/10 Good
"The rooms were delightful however when booking there was no mention of the church bells that ring every 15 minutes day and night! This combined with the paper thin walls and ceilings meant sleeping was extremely difficult. They do provide ear plugs for guests but not ideal. Also breakfast choices are extremely limited if you are vegan. Better choice of cereals and types of milk would have been good as well as suitable menu options."
Cosy Deganwy Escape by the Sea & Conwy Mountain
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice property with a great view! We didn't like the car park as with the property being on a mountainside, it was very steep. There were a few big steps going up from there - am advising this for those who, like me, have mobility issues. I managed them and the stairs ok. There are rails to hold onto. Everything you need is in the cottage. There is a big fridge/freezer that dispenses cold water. The bed is very comfy indeed. The whole place is very modern and nicely decorated. We had a very pleasant stay."
Glorious Views And Elegant Comfort In One Of North Wales's Best Kept Secrets.
10/10 Excellent
"Comfortable accommodation. Everything we needed was supplied, nice welcome pack on arrival. We had zero issues during our stay. This is not a modern property, and all the better for that, reminds me of a French Gite. But all modern appliances. Nice view of the castle and estuary. Cai is a great host, came to check all was OK on arrival, but unobtrusive after that. We had great confidence that if there were any issues (there were none) Cai would be available to provide solutions. The restaurant below is well worth a visit but book as early as possible as it is very popular, with good reason as the food is excellent. Parking on the road is quickly filled but the car park directly opposite and we never had a problem finding a space. You can book 7 days parking for about 20 so very reasonable. The property is located next to the majority of shops and restaurants in Deganwy. Frequent local trains to LLandudo."
YHA Conwy - Hostel
8/10 Good
"Room was basic but clean and orderly. The beds were a bit hard but good enough for a nights sleep. Lights in the room operated on a timer rather than a switch, not sure why you can’t turn them on and off with a switch to save power, but that seems like a YHA quirk rather than the hostel itself. Staff were friendly and engaging, and facilities were good to make breakfast. There are no towels or soap so make sure to bring basic supplies for as long as your there. overall had a great stay."
Beautiful 2 bedroom Deganwy apartment with estuary views
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely apartment, much more spacious than I was expecting, and furnished to a high standard. Great estuary views. As previously mentioned, rear access requires you to watch your step, and lack of convenient parking is a disadvantage, though that applies to many town properties everywhere now. Enjoyed my stay, and would happily stay again. "
