"Everything was excellent, prompt responses prior to our holiday, very accommodating on our arrival. Nice surprise of drinks in the fridge. Easy access to the pool. Host was excellent & living locally would have been on hand if needed, (but nothing for him to attend to). We had everything needed in the kitchen & washing machine was a handy extra. Cabanas on your doorstep but nice and quiet when we got back. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks."

"We have stayed in condo rentals all over the world and they were all equipped with extra sheets, blankets and towels. Unfortunately, this place had no extra sheets, most of the pillowcases were too small for the pillows and there were no blankets. The top covers on the beds were extremely thin and there was only 4 bath towels and 4 hand towels. Since we were there February and March, it was very cold, especially at night and the heating units were located high on the walls, so all the heat was near the ceiling, not where it was needed. There was no iron or ironing board. The kitchen was adequately equipped with plenty of dishes, cutlery, glassware and pots and pans but only one towel for drying dishes. There was no coffee table in front of the sofa so no place to put drinks while watching t.v. We enjoyed Portugal and will probably return next winter but will be looking for a different place to stay."

"Had a lovely stay in Cabanas in this traditional Portuguese house in a small town. Everything was within walking distance. Close to the boardwalk and ferry across Ria Formosa lagoon to the beach. Two wonderful terraces. Nicely decorated with artistic touches. We had a few issues that required us to contact the owner who responded immediately. Would recommend to others!"

"My husband and I have done a great deal of traveling throughout the years and this villa is one of the worst places we have ever stayed! The listing shows a washing machine for your clothes in the kitchen but in fact, it's actually on the roof which was fairly inconvenient since it rained during most of our stay. It would also be hard for someone with mobility issues. The induction cooktop did not work the entire time (we contacted the host about this) and the small "toaster oven" barley could warm a piece of bread. We basically had the use of a microwave. We also contacted the host about all the spiders that were in the villa and he never responded. The main bathroom does have a shower but it's a "hand held" with no hook to support it while you try and shower. We just used the hall bath. Please note, the sofas are built in and they are made from concrete so they are extremely uncomfortable. Every rental we stay in offers AT LEAST a bottle of water or wine at check in and usually there is salt/pepper and olive oil just to get you started. This rental offers none of those things.....not even a roll of paper towels. It was very disappointing and we would not want others to have the same experience we did. The neighborhood is good for walking and eating and the small yard is nice if you have kids or a pet. That's about all we can say that's positive! Sorry, we never write negative reviews because we want to be fair. This place needs a lot of attention."

"It was off season but still had options for where to eat, shop, and to go sightsee. The taxi company they use are good and reasonably priced for when the buses weren't available. The staff were super helpful and helped me make the most of my stay. I really enjoyed it and plan to return there in the future. "
