"We spent 4 nights at Quinta dos Perfumes travelling as a same-sex couple. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the accommodation was well-kept and comfortable. The hotel is set in beautiful orange groves, with breakfast overlooking the garden. Room was comfortable with good AC. Water available for guests in the lounge. The pool was a good size and set amongst the trees. The hotel is just back from the main road into Cabanas. They also hired out bikes for free, so you can cycle into the village to visit the beach or restaurants, which was excellent."

"We rented this place for five weeks in Jan/Feb. The apartment was uncomfortably cold and the heating units very noisy. No heater in the kitchen area. The one upstairs shower is unusable as an adult cannot fit through the door. There were a number of things in disrepair although property management was attentive when informed of defective or missing items. The unit was ok, but some work would need to be done to update this apartment before we would recommend it fully."

"My wife and enjoyed our stay in cabanas, the resort was bigger than we expected and definitely more family oriented, but still very enjoyable for us. The flat was very lovely, had what we needed and a nice covered patio. The local grocery store was a 5 min walk and well stocked. Day trips to Tavira were not expensive but you can’t walk from Cabanas to Tavira, it’s bus or taxi. The village of Cabanas was just the right pace for my wife and I, quiet and tranquil, lots of restaurants and the beaches were beautiful. We would return."
