"We couldn’t regulate the A/C, no place to put your toiletries in the bathroom, no place to hang your towels up and the fake wood floors were all curling up at the edges."

"This hotel was incredible. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located by the Piazza Roma which is the hub for the shuttle bus to the airport and the water taxis. There is also a really great restaurant right out the door to the hotel. We will definitely stay here when we return to Venice."

"It was our first time visiting the beautiful city of Venice and I must say that the Hotel Saturnia checked all of the boxes for us in our stay. The Concierge did a great job arranging our transfers. Check in and out was smooth. They provided some currency exchange for us. The staff working the bar were attentive and made great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The staff was so proactive. The last day we had an early checkout for our flight departing from the Venice airport. We were supposed to travel to the airport by water taxi however it turned out that the tide prevented a water taxi pick-up at the hotel directly. They responded quickly by having us relocate to another pick-up point for water taxi to an awaiting van that took us the rest of the way to the Airport. We arrived at the time we would have had there not been an issue with the tides. These are the things that separate great hotels from good ones. I look forward to my next trip to Venice. I know where I will be staying."

"We absolutely loved this hotel and found the price to be very reasonable for such a beautiful place. The staff were always so helpful and friendly in particular the young lad at the pool area most days. Always smiling and will do anything for the guests. Our bed was super comfortable and the room clean and fresh towels and water provided daily. We are so glad we chose to stay in Lido and not in Venice and would highly recommend."

"Relatively expensive but exclusive hotel, served well with local water bus and hotel private water bus to city centre. We had access to a special executive lounge area where snacks were provided inclusive of the room charge. The food on offer around 3pm was very disappointing, just a few dried crispy snacks with some sodas. It was nit clear how to use the facility which was unstaffed apart from an occasional visit from a staff member to clear tables. I would expect much more of such an upmarket hotel. Breakfast on the other hand was amazing, with a lovely choice of hot and cold food. Staff were welcoming and helpful, especially Elisa (apologies if I have your name wrong) who was very attentive and thoughtful about her approach to guests. Thank you!"
