"Helpful staff, good location and a short walk to the lake. The room was a good size and the bed was huge and comfortable. Plus the shower has the hottest water in Sri Lanka! The internet signal can be a little inconsistent ok if your rooms are near reception but signal quality drops if your at the end of the hotel?"

"Beautiful hotel and room very nicely appointed. Rooftop pool was fabulous. Great outlook and easily enjoyed cocktails from that viewpoint! Very friendly staff. Great location above the lake and looks across to Temple of the relic of the tooth. Easy walk down town."

"The hotel is located very convenient near the temple of the sacred tooth relic. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. We came by car and could park at the hotel car parking in front of the hotel. From there we were incredibly friendly and sufficient guided through the whole process. Within no time we were in our rooms.. with a nice few and wonderful balcony. The diner and breakfast were wonderful. The owner of the hotel can be proud on this staff group!! Also the Barista across the street was a big plus."

"The room was very clean and the staff excellent - very helpful and obliging. However, a few maintenance issues have to be addressed. The toilet leaked continously and there were mosquitoes in the room. Also, the electronic key kept failing every 2 days and had to be reactivated"

"The property is situated in the city centre, and this the really the main reason for my stay at the property. The room that was provided to me was extremely basic but there was good air condition and hot water. The room was was away from the main road so there was no traffic noise, but i believe the rooms next to main road must be noisy. The property was fairly rundown and i didn't expect much for the price that was listed. I decided to stay for three days because of the convenient location and the great value offered. No frills but it works for me. ideal location and budget friendly"

"Dumbara Park Residence is a wonderful hotel for daily travel in Kandy. It’s very convenient and located right in the centre of the city. The rooms are clean, and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The rooftop restaurant is amazing. It’s also just a 10‑minute drive to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa). My next visit Kandy again, I will definitely choose Dumbara Park Residence. "
