"It was a very comfortable stay. All staff members I met were professional and nice. Gym was well equipped and clean. Easy to picked up by Grab. Shopping mall and other eating were across the street. Huge library is also a few minutes walk. Great location!"

"How fancy is raffles hotel? Well, it’s so fancy that if you’re in the front room, there are no less than 4 doors between you & the toilet! There’s a door between the sitting room & the bedroom, another between the bedroom & the closet area, a bathroom door, then a door to the toilet itself. When my girlfriend said she had to “go powder her nose,” I felt secure. With as much charm as I could muster I sweetly asked her to close all the doors. She shot back a look of cold malice, but with satisfaction, I heard her shut all of the doors. But after a few minutes, to my horror, wafted the most noxious odors. I’m sure my girlfriend won’t mind me, saying this, especially because she never reads these reviews. But if she does, darling, my computer has been hacked again. But seriously, if you’re going to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a hotel room, this is the place!"

"What a great hotel to stay for our anniversary, can’t recommend more highly. Club rooms and the team in the lounge very good and even an early checkin, breakfast and a treat provided to help us celebrate."

"Had a really great week at the Kempinski it is really well located directly next to the capitol theatre and city hall MRT. Their easy access to one of Singapore's massive connected walkways, from the Kempinski you can get to at least 4 malls and two MRT stations without ever needing to go outside. The proximity of the theater also means there are so many great dining options it would take months to get bored. But location is only half the story, the hotel itself is great, we booked an executive suite which came with executive lounge access and it was definitely worth the upgrade, just to have a little piece of calm in what can be a hectic city was worth it all by itself, even if we weren’t able to use it as much as we wanted as we were always on the go. The staff were also super friendly and helpful and seemed to really care, not just that your stay was good, but that you enjoyed the city (in fairness this was an overriding impression I got across Singapore, everywhere you went people were so proud of the city and wanted to show you the best.) So it may not be exclusive to the hotel, but every member of staff I met exemplified this behaviour and made our stay amazing. 100% will be staying here again for all future trips to the Lion City."
