"The Blue Heron Cottage was an excellent stay for my family. While small, the property was big enough for us and two kids. The cottage itself inside was pretty new all around. The only thing that needs updating would be the shower. Full kitchen with oven and fridge was nice. Beds comfy. Property good ..."

"Very spacious for 6-7 ladies. Some limitations due to steps. 3 bedrooms first level but 2 bedrooms up very narrow farmhouse stairway and not good if physical issues."

Colonial beach seemed to be a weekend boating town. I don't own a boat, and there are still plenty of things to do and see. It seems to slow down during the week. Great place to kick your feet up and relax.
