"Fabulous stay at the Millennium Gloucester Road whilst visiting the Royal Albert Hall. We got a free upgrade to a suite which was an unexpected bonus! Perfect location, lots of restaurants around, easy access to the underground and Kensington Gardens. Highly recommend."

"Good hotel, but check your bill carefully! The hotel itself was very good and in an excellent central location. My wife and I stayed with a group of friends after attending an event nearby, and we were perfectly happy with our stay — until breakfast the following morning. This is where things became disappointing. Our bill stated a 12.5% service charge, yet we were also charged an additional £3.50 per guest — £21 in total — even though our guests had already paid for their breakfasts separately. I find this extremely misleading. If a charge is described as 12.5%, then that is what a customer reasonably expects to be charged. Adding further charges without making them absolutely clear is, in my view, deceptive and leaves a very poor impression. It’s a shame because we genuinely liked the hotel. My advice: enjoy your stay, but check your bill very carefully before paying."

"Mum and I had a lovely night’s stay in this hotel in a twin room. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The sofa was really nice and comfortable too. The robes and slippers provided were a nice cosy touch when we were sat catching up on Strictly. All that being said, I think the location is the biggest selling point of this property- really close to Battersea Power Station with all the shops/restaurants there, plus it’s close to Victoria station. Would recommend staying here."

"It is a beautiful property- and currently undergoing some renovations- but that didn’t get in our way at all. Being an old building we expected it to not be perfect. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean in all the ways that mattered… bed, bathroom, floors. The room could use a deeper cleaning - some areas were dusty. But overall we enjoyed the stay here. Beds were comfortable and soft."

"The location was perfect for my visit and both convenient for buses and walking to get to where I wanted. The room was beautifully put together, feeling very luxurious and thoughtfully detailed. Lovely window boxes had flowers to frame the views of the city. While the restaurant was not yet completed the area has lots of options, of which Nero Caffe across the road was the most crucial for my breakfast and coffees. From Gatwick it only took one train and one bus ride plus a five-minute walk to get to the Goat in Boots. Notes: If arriving outside the downstairs pub opening times, make sure you have a clear plan to meet the concierge as indicated in their own instructions. The hotel only has stairs, which was fine by me, but not so great for others. All-in-all a delightful gem in an amazing location. I will stay here again!"
