"Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. "We never got to meet Monia, as she was away, but her brother, Mauro, took excellent care of us. He met us at the bottom of the hill and escorted us to the house and showed us around. He responded immediately to texts and questions, and gave us wonderful recommendations (we loved touring the olive oil mill that he takes his family's olives to). "Even though this house was out of the way it was comfortable, spacious and provided us with a serene space after each day of sight seeing and travel in both Umbria and Tuscany. It was just what we were looking for to accomodate our family group and we enjoyed many good times. "Vrbo makes the rental process super easy. Luigi provided excellent communication and care. He met us in Gioiella, a small town near the house, to take us the rest of the way so we would not get lost, and had even offered to pick up our friends at the Castiglione del Lagos train station. Do be aware that the second bedroom is very small with a set of bunk beds, of which the top is not suitable for an adult. There is a full out sofa as well with a full sized bed.
