We stayed in the coach house in a superior room which was very spacious with a four poster bed, two sofas and an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast every day was excellent and served by B who made us all smile. Only all the staff the building the surroundings were absolutely excellent and I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you go to Charleston"

It’s not perfect, but the staff, location, and beach itself more than make up for the minor inconveniences… We had such a nice experience, that I don’t want to call this a “cons” list, just things to be aware of if you are traveling with a family. 1. Families of 5+ should know ahead of time that the bathrooms are tight. The sink is located outside of the shower and toilet area. The “bathroom” room is just a shower and toilet. "The beach was being renovated which was not the action of the hotel and is needed but made the stay noisy. Areas of the hotel need updating -elevators especially. "

"Hotel was very well appointed and perfectly clean. It was convenient to have a bar at the hotel, and it had very good food. The staff were extremely helpful. The shuttle, which ran every hour into Charleston avoided driving and parking concerns. All in all a very excellent experience! "

"Everything was excellent. Hotel was clean, breakfast had good variety. Indoor heated pool was amazing (quiet during the day, busier in the evenings). Staff was very helpful and kind especially Charlene. 35 minutes to the beach but worth it."
