"We stayed for just 1 night and will only complain about the fact we could not control the A/C at night. It got a bit warm. Oddly I was able to control it in the afternoon/evening and the next morning. Prior to our arrival, we had been advised to request a room in the renovated area of the hotel and were told it would be provided if available. It is a short walk from Angel station which was convenient. We arrived a bit early with plans to have our luggage held if our room was not ready but, were pleasantly surprised with a room in the renovated area and complimentary upgrade. The woman who checked us in was friendly and efficient. The lobby and restaurant area were clean and modern. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit tight but, had a lovely mirror that lit up around the edge and a light up vanity mirror off the wall. Our view was just onto an inner service road with a view into another section of the hotel but, we didn't care. Check out was simple and the staff kindly held our bags while we went about our day. All in all, would stay again! "

"A nice hotel in a fab location, let down by the synthetic duvet which made my body ache. The coloured light strips outside the bedroom windows, for aesthetic effect, aren't helpful when you're trying to sleep with the window open. Aircon isn't necessary when it’s 12 degrees outside at nighttime in June! Aircon is not eco-friendly unless essential!"
