"I needed 1 night in a comfortable, clean, convenient place on my way through the area, and this cute motel/hotel fit the bill. The design & decor were thoughtful & lighthearted with a western theme -- nice touch! The property is compact, but my room was ample. Arriving & parking earlier ensures the closest spots to your room, but none are too far; 3 spots required parallel parking. The discounted $5 breakfast at Lumberjack's was great. "

"Beautiful place"

"Beautiful property and location however everyone who lives locally is on substances and it was really uncomfortable. The property is right off the lake and you get a beautiful view. None of the locals bother you or come near the property so that was good. We were in town visiting my grandparents and clear lake is such a beautiful location. If we do come back I wouldn't mind staying at this location again. Booking was easy along with checking in and out. If you need any assistance the manager is a phone call away. The view is breathtaking! I also liked that our cottage had a stove, so we cooked everyday saving us money. The cleaning ladies were super helpful and attentive as well. Overall it was a great stay. Just be aware of the locals because just about everyone is on substances unfortunately. Also there was a ton of nats/bugs flying around so when you walk, fingers crossed nothing flys in your mouth or eyes lol, but we know its common for lakes to have bugs. Lastly i would recommend this specific property, oh and they allow dogs which is a plus! "
