"The house was beautiful! Very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is the best especially if you don’t need a dock attached. We walked everywhere! During our stay we had one day of rain. "

"The only bad thing is their coffee is weak and bland. Also, they pre book you a room and the girl at the desk said there was no way to switch my room. Even though i was one of the 1st to check in. Odd...Still a Awesome place to stay."

"We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in but we didn’t have any issues, so there wasn’t a need. I messaged them after we checked out, and they promptly replied. "

"In town for a family reunion. Loved the location of the house, just a short walk to the beach. Lakeview from the front porch. Clean and well stocked to make you feel at home. Used the wagon to take our granddaughter to the beach. Toys, beach items, highchair were all helpful. "

"The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. Our family reunions was at the community center in Ventura, but the Clausen house served as a gathering spot for the brothers and sisters to visit. We loved the location as it was easy to walk to plenty of entertainment and shopping. There was plenty of parking. This was our third stay at the Clausen and I am sure there will be plenty more. The next family reunion we hoping to rent the yellow house and the school house. Myron and his family are lovely host. "
