"You can tell that the building is not new. It might need some work but overall I really enjoyed the stay. On site restaurant food was great. Stuff was great. Especially the chef that was making my breakfast -he can make you everything you ask for. I would recommend that place!"

"Absolutely incredible location with a modern, new ‘cabin’…ice cold A/C!Thayer Lake access on property allowed for kayaking in easy water. There’s a Torch Lake beach about 3 minutes away for swimming etc. We enjoyed The Muffin Tin in Alden!The owners were great to communicate with and work with. The in-unit ductless washer/dryer was a huge plus for me. The water is a little hard so plan accordingly if not used to it. I personally slept on the queen. It’s a little too plush for my preference, I would prefer a concrete slab if you know what I mean. Again, plan accordingly.Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!"

"We had a great time at this house. We have boys, 7 and 9 and they loved fishing off the dock! They caught a catfish, bass and other fish. The house had plenty of space for 6 people ages 7-75."

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Shores on Thayer Lake! The house was sized well for our group and we really loved being on the lake. It was a treat to see and hear the loons each day! We enjoyed paddling the kayaks, swimming and fishing, and the fire pit was great in the evening. There were plenty of linens/towels. The host was very responsive to our questions before and during our visit."

"This home was beautiful! Gorgeous view of Clam Lake with easy access. Lots of details were attended to. From the hot tub being up and ready for us upon arrival to the glow-in-the-dark stones that lit up the pathway at night to the abundance of household supplies. Being able to experience a true log home and all its beauty was a fantastic experience. It was a great jumping off point for so many days trips. We especially loved the trip to Green River Nature Site which was just minutes away from the house. It was a quiet location, as well. Kayaks were available but we did not use. I would highly recommend this home!"
