"We had a great stay at Thayer lake cabin! It is so charming and cozy. It had plenty of space for relaxing and lounging both inside and outdoors. The cabin is close to public access points to Torch Lake and close to the cute shops in Alden. It is secluded yet close enough to attractions. Alden ball park beach access was great for taking a dip in the lake before we checked in and we enjoyed the nature area down the street as well. The weather didn’t cooperate for a lake day so we got pizza from Village Market and had a fun night in. Great stay!"

"We had a great time on the property and Thayer Lake. The hammock was pretty old and frail which made it hard to lay on and the water in the cabin is rusty since it's using a well but still not a deal breaker by any means. Canoeing and kayaking on Thayer lake was very peaceful and relaxing."

"Our stay was nice! We took morning walks along the water, close access to the boat ramp and our fav Dockside! We enjoyed nightly bonfires and appreciated the stock of wood to use. The games and puzzles were also so nice to use! Only feedback is the basement bed did not have a top sheet, just fitted sheet and duvet cover and the shower door was a little wobbly, not sure if it was off the track or needed to be reset but wanted to flag! Thanks so much!"

"Loved the location and pet friendly home. The public lake access was very busy so that added a bit to the privacy. Unfortunately there was not much lake breeze in the evenings so made for some hot sleeping conditions. Overall we had a great time. Torch Lake is our favorite "

"This place was perfect and we were all impressed with the property. Starting with the oversized driveway. We brought a boat and the driveway was perfect for us to park the trailer and boat when not using it during our stay. We had 10 of us that were staying in the cottage and had plenty of room for comfort and when we slept there were plenty of beds. The back patio was awesome with the extra seating and space to enjoy outback. And just a short walk down the stairs we had beach access and a perfect little fire pit to enjoy the night and listen to the water. They have a grill and most eating amenities but we did bring a black stone. The best part was communication between me and host. Easy to contact and responded efficiently. 10/10 recommend this property for your next adventure!"
