Ojochal is a lovely and safe town. People are very welcoming. For the most part you will always see the same people around, at the stores, beach or events held in Ojochal. The closest beach is within 5 mins drive, Playa Tortuga and Ventanas, there are other nice beaches found between Ojochal and Dominical which are well known and beautiful. In Ojochal you can find a pharmacy, Hardware store, supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops. Beautiful clean rivers, waterfalls and a lot of nature.
Things to do: Support the fair (farmer’s market) held every Wednesday in Ojochal at salon comunal with fresh fruit and veggies. Support all local small/family owned businesses. Visit the Ojochal Waterfall, book a horse back riding tour, go on a lovely hike, volunteer at the Reserve Playa Tortuga and so much more.
