"I had the most amazing time at One Hundred Shoreditch especially as a solo female traveler. The staff were amazing the moment I checked in, they made me feel right at home sharing plenty of recommendations to someone new to London like me. I had great chats with Ayaub, Golder and Mickey (excuse the spelling!) every day when I arrived or left the hotel. It's a great vibe, they have a nice lobby where a lot of folks are working from alongside a coffee shop. The rooftop bar and Seed Library bar were amazing as well I had delicious cocktails. Location is very central to Shoreditch and my room was amazing, it had a little nook with a city view and I sat by the window everyday people watching. I can't wait to visit again!"

"Easy access to long stay car park. Lovely restaurant now open, the supervisor in there very attentive and doesn't miss anything, giving advice to the younger members of the team. Rooms are getting ready for a revamp, and please replace the milk sachets, there are never enough and it goes all over the place."

Limehouse Library Hotel

"Our experience at the Limehouse Library was fantastic. It's even better in person. Each room is designed after a person. We (three women) got the family suite and ours was after a Turkish doctor, Dr. Türkan Saylan. The suite felt like a mini apartment and was spacious, well designed, and overall a fun/quirky place to stay. I'd absolutely book again next time I'm in London. Oh! And all the staff was so helpful and kind. They helped carry our luggage up and down. Wanted to highlight the rooftop terrace as well, a beautiful and private spot to wind down. The security to our area made us feel even better. The only negative things I can think of is the shower set up and the area itself. The "door" of the shower only covers about a third of the tub so after a quick rinse, the floor is soaked. It wasn't a real problem, but definitely worth noting if need be. The area is a little on the fringe but coming from LA, I didn't find it intimidating (for female travelers). Just pay attention to the lifts at the nearby station, sometimes they're "occupied." Had a great time!"

"The location of this hotel is fantastic if you have a morning flight out of Stansted because you can very easily just walk to the terminal from here. My room was small but clean and well appointed. It wasn’t ready at check in time though which was frustrating. I had to wait over an hour in the lobby until it was ready. I was given a complimentary latte for my trouble which was nice. The breakfast in particular at this place was something to rave about. They even had vegetarian sausages available which was amazing! I would definitely recommend this hotel if my travel plans had me flying out of Stansted."

"Slightly frustrating check-in process - staff engagement to try to get me to change my room but not to tell me where the lifts are (sign hidden by plant). Room snug but OK. Quite noisy and the curtain not great but, overall, comfortable enough"

"Our 14th-floor room had stunning views over Blackwall Basin — we loved gazing down at the canal boats and the Thames and dreaming. The service apartment setup was genuinely practical and comfortable: full kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop — everything you could need for an extended stay. Having a refrigerator and a fully equipped kitchen meant we made our own breakfasts each morning, which was honestly perfect. (They do have a coffee shop café and breakfast available upstairs, so you have options either way.) The furnishings gave a designer feel and were really hip and lovely. The staff was warm and welcoming throughout our stay, which made a real difference. Canary Wharf was a neighborhood we’d never stayed in before, and this hotel gave us a wonderful home base for exploring it. The Junie’s and Elizabeth lines were easy to get to, as well as lots of shopping. If you’re looking for a service apartment experience with a boutique hotel feel in a London neighborhood worth discovering, Locke at Canary Wharf is absolutely worth it!"
