"We stayed at Beechfield House Hotel from 21st May to 24th May 2025 and had a wonderful relaxing break. Our room was beautiful, featuring French doors and a balcony with stunning views over the pool and gardens - the perfect spot to unwind. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. A special mention goes to Elaine, whose warmth and friendliness made us feel more like old friends than guests. We were lucky with the weather and took full advantage of the hotel's heated outdoor pool, spending hours swimming and lounging in the sun. It was exactly the escape we needed. Breakfast each morning was a highlight - freshly cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. If we hadn't already booked our next hotel, we would have happily extended our stay. Beechfield House is a true hidden gem, and we're already looking forward to booking our next stay. A well-deserved 5-star review!"

"Guyers house is located in a quiet rural spot. Its a great house with alot of history, sympathetically maintained. The rooms are comfortable with views of the grounds. This is my second stay and i will be back. Lots of choice for breakfast. Simple but good evening meals. Seperate bar lounge if required. Easy parking. Fantastic night sleep"

"We had a truly wonderful experience at The Neeld Arms. Mark, the proprietor, was incredibly courteous and an outstanding host throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, he made sure every detail was taken care of. Dinner was exceptional. We had a delicious chicken burger and a perfectly cooked fish and chips, both served hot and fresh. There was also plenty of fresh bread and butter on the table, which we really appreciated. Everything was full of flavour and clearly made with quality ingredients. The drinks selection was excellent and paired well with the meal. The rooms were tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable, and perfect for a restful night. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive. What stood out most was Mark’s attentiveness. He was always on hand, anticipating and meeting every request with warmth and care. We genuinely cannot stress enough how much fun and relaxation we had. A fantastic place and highly recommended."

"It's great character and perfect location. We returned to the hotel about midnight after taking a relative home after a great meal. Parking over the bridge and walking across the car park in the dark was quite challenging. I did report it and suggested some low level lighting would be helpful even if it were sensor operated. They took note and said it would be brought the Managements attention. Would be very happy to return and to recommend."

"Not a “hotel” but more like a pub with rooms. However the room was great but could do with aircon not just a small fan. Shower had plenty of pressure and bed was very comfortable with good pillows. The smart tv was a plus allowing me to watch Netflix and YouTube. Not a massive fan of continental breakfasts but there’s was ok. Plenty shops, supermarket and takeaways nearby."
