"Lovely hotel, close to Barrio Logan and Chicano Park and a 10-15 minute drive to the Gaslamp district. I wasn’t clear from the listing that the courtyard is actually the seating for the restaurant so be aware that you can’t really hang out there during service hours (though you should eat there, the food is outstanding!) Everyone was super nice and helpful when I hadn’t gotten the entry code by check-in time. Be aware that there are not separate hotel staff, though restaurant staff can help with things like extra towels or emptying trash. I prefer not having my room serviced during a stay but if this is important to you choose a more full-service hotel. I was in town for a conference so really just sleeping in my room and it was perfect for that. "

"They put me in a room right by the elevators which made my stay very loud. The toilet in the room just kept running all day and night adding even more noise. The light in the bathroom was damaged and very dim. The closet is located inside the bathroom (which is odd) and the door just stuck out and would not close properly. But it is very convenient and located next to everything with an amazing view. "
