"We had a very pleasant and comfortable one night stay at The Renishaw Hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early and helped us with booking a taxi. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. "

"Excellent welcome from cheerful, friendly, helpful staff. We weren't expecting the varied and interesting menu, so were pleased to have the choices we could, and what we chose was excellent. The bed was a bit on the small side, but we knew that when we booked. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options. Despite being close to the motorway noise was not a problem. The information on the hotels.com website is wrong - there is a receptionist but not 24 hrs and there is free car parking. A good place to take a break - or for a lunch stop instead of a crowded service area."

"I had a great stay the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were most helpful and approachable making me feel more settled as I travelled alone. The breakfast was amazing and hot! The room was clean and there was complimentary things in the bathroom which you never get! The only snag was I could hear some sort of generator or air conditioning unit that didn’t go off/ quieter until midnight and I like it quiet when I sleep or I can’t sleep."
