"Nice quiet clean rooms even though it was on a busy pub you couldn’t hear any noise really enjoyed our stay there"

"The location for the Peaks is fantastic and it’s more affordable than staying in the Peaks itself. We stayed as a family of four and have stayed here before prior to its rebrand but it could do with a bit of TLC. The lady on the front desk was very friendly and also engaged with our young children which was nice. There is a bar/restaurant connected to the hotel, where we had a drink, but we didn’t eat there. Free parking and a less than one minute drive into the Peaks - brilliant for what we wanted. "

"This hotel was our favorite one of our England trip! It is a beautiful hotel with an impeccable staff and dining! HIGHLY recommend!!"

"We stayed at the Manor House for two nights. It is a beautiful old building, which has been thoughfully modernised inside. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower, with plenty of hot water. It was also surprisingly quiet, for being in a town, with the occasional call of a pair of tawny owls. The staff were absolutely great, and very efficiently with their service. Breakfast was superb, with a menu to suit everyone. Don't be put off by the hotel not serving evening meals, as there are plenty of eating options in the immediate area. The closest being the gastro pub, which is next door. I have no doubt that we will be staying here again."

"We received a very warm welcome with refreshments in the garden with our hosts. This house has history which becomes apparent when inspecting the quaint interior. Our room was small but comfortable with features matching the age of the property. Breakfast taken in the vine room were excellent with various choices. The pleasant guest lounge was comfortably furnished. Our hosts, Hillary and Graham, were warm and friendly. We would certainly use this B&B if staying in the area again."
