"Lovely hotel, clean spacious rooms, good facilities. Here on business so unfortunately didn't get chance to use the pool etc but looked good size for a hotel pool. If in Sheffield I will stay again. Good fresh food, but little limited if there for a while. Had good Thai curry & a Chilli. "

"My Husband I stayed at the Mercure Hotel for one night to go to a concert at the Utilita Stadium. the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was warm and room facilities were good. There was a kettle, tea bags (no biscuits) coffee, iron and board, hairdryer, shampoo and gel. It was quiet despite being at the back near some storage containers but no traffic or loading is mentioned in one other review. The outlook is onto a grass banking and trees so you don't notice the containers too much. The restaurant was lovely, we had a meal in the evening and our waiter was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was buffet style down to hot water and coffee from a machine and you toast your own bread. There was plenty food available, and I was given non dairy milk when I asked. Reception were very helpful regarding getting cabs to and from Utilita.The journey is only about 10 minutes at most from the Hotel. We enjoyed our stay and found the rooms comfortable and very quiet and clean."
