"We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. The pub is conveniently located a few minutes from the Bath park and ride. We'd...

"Beautiful building with a great view over the city. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good restaurant with excellent food. Eccentric plumbing only added to a great stay. Fully recommend"

"This is a lovely place to stay with with bright clean and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection. There was waitress service and the dining lounge was pleasant. My only reservation is that there is no emergency phone number at night should guests need to contact staff but overall I would be happy to use this hotel again."

"Staff were all so helpful and lovely. Room very comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast and it was all completely delicious, you could taste the freshness and quality. Enjoyed the cucumber watermelon picante."

"Enjoyable stay in a good location for exploring Bath. A bit awkward to find car parking nearby at busy times but otherwise all good."

"A beautiful place in a perfect location to explore Bath."

"Gorgeous room and bathroom. Round the corner from the royal crescent. Lovely gardens to have a cocktail in. Highly recommend."

"The room is spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and lovely bath and shower. Staff was lovely. Lovely small pool great for kids."

"Fantastic room, helpful staff and a tasty breakfast. Good location, with free parking. Would stay again!"

"The hotel looks spectacular when you arrive. On check-in the staff were polite, seemed a little fed up everyday thereafter. The restaurant is something that should be avoided at all costs unless you like eating uninspiring, bland overpriced food (£60 for 2 people and I would have expected something that looked and tasted like some heart had gone into it). Best option was the pub at the end of the drive or a takeaway!! Breakfast was free - that was nice because I would not have paid for it! We...

"The rooms were not clean, the carpet was not clean in the room, the bathroom seemed clean but in general I was not reassured. The breakfast was not great. I really wish it was just clean"

"A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views. Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through. Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty. The highlight though were the staff throughout. It's such a pleasure to receive genuine excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you."

"Terrific staff, very kind and friendly. Free breakfast was good, restaurant was great for dinner. Big room with big bathroom, nicely updated."

"The room was very clean and tidy. Location was perfect for us, very close to everything!"

"Lovely hotel in a perfect location in Bath. We had a beautiful room and the facilities were delightful. The hotel is a bit of a labyrinth but staff were helpful in guiding us where we needed to go. One thing to note- the gym is very small, and dusty. We would love to return!"
