"When on arrival we felt that we weren't very welcome, the landlady was rather offish because we had arrived a little bit earlier than we should. But we had just driven over 200 miles and 4 hours driving (without a stop) to get there and all we wanted to do, was just to drop off our suitcases and park the car up for our stay there and just sit down for 10 minutes, there wasn't even a welcome, cup tea or cold drink.
