"Walk up the stairs to top floor was strenuous, especially after a day of walking the city, making it inconvenient to pop back to the room. Check in was smooth and Manuel kindly waited when we got lost (caution-there is more than one “Palazzo Medici Apartments” in Florence). "This is a short-term rental apartment overlooking Santa Croce Plaza. The check-in process was easy, the manager/assistant met us at the apartment and checked us in. But so many things went wrong during our stay that we can’t leave the positive review we had hoped to!
