"I have now stayed at the Atrio three times in the past 5 years. This was my first visit since Jan 2020 (just before the pandemic). The people, the location, and the service is outstanding (as always). I would stay here again for just those reasons. I do feel the this hotel might have suffered economically during the COVID years. "The hotel is located right in Centro and the rooms are fully equipped, comfortable and in excellent condition. The owners both speak English as well as Spanish and are an excellent source of knowledge both the local area and Mexico in general. They're both very nice and hospitable. "It was 85 degrees and no water in the pool. I booked extra days so i could be around the pool. Also they do not water the plants at the entrance. I filled water bottles and did it myself. Other than that everything was excellent"
