"This is an incredible, elegant, historic mansion! We enjoyed our stay here. The architecture is wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, but the staff will take care of your luggage. After all, this was built in the 1700s! Our room was was spacious and elegant. The location in the Centro Histórico is very good and within walking distance of the main sites. The restaurant serves delicious Mexican food and a fine pianist provides live music."

La Casa del Atrio
3.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (402)
"I have now stayed at the Atrio three times in the past 5 years. This was my first visit since Jan 2020 (just before the pandemic). The people, the location, and the service is outstanding (as always). I would stay here again for just those reasons. I do feel the this hotel might have suffered economically during the COVID years. The rooms are getting just a bit dated. "

El Serafin Hotel Boutique
3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (369)
"Cons: The night guy is cranky, and their system of having us all leave our room keys at the front desk when we leave lead me to have to go back down the stairs to get mine almost every time I left and returned (because who even thinks of picking up a key one normally already has?). Pros: Everything else.
