"Our room was great. Overall, you can't go wrong here. A couple of nit-picks: 1) The windows don't do a great job of reflecting the heat ... our room was facing the morning sun and you could feel more heat than you would expect just being within a few feet of the CLOSED curtains - this could be WAY more efficient with the proper windows for the valley of the sun ... 2) The roof above the short half of the building (stops above the 8th floor) would be great for an outdoor reception space (or even a restaurant and/or play pool) ... totally wasted space and as is, a bit unsightly from the 9th floor and above ... it could be fantastic with the right decor!"

"This place in Phoenix needs a new pastry chef. We had desserts a couple of times, and they were not good. If you put a pastry disk on top of a pudding, you should be able to put your fork through it. If you get a pastry disk with canned peaches on it, it should be fresh. Introduce better desserts with a new pastry chef. "

"Fantastic location to Scottsdale, the Biltmore area, all the shopping and restaurants anyone could ever ask for. Convenient drive up 24th St. from the airport to Camelback and you are at the hotel one block East. Just a very comfortable, QUIET, GREAT PLACE TO STAY. If you want to hike Camelback Mountain or walk your dog plenty of that to do real close by. "

"We chose the downtown Kimpton location, because I wanted to avoid large resort fees. The staff couldn't have been any kinder! My only note is that the rooms (we rented 2 rooms), seemed to show some wear & tear on the furniture. The bench had a large stain on it & the furniture had nicks on it. Other than that, the rooms were clean."
