It was raining a bit when we arrived but our room was comfortable (the bed could have been a little bit softer) with a balcony that had a great view of the pool, the sea and the castle for which the town is named. "To start with, the beach which one sees on the hotel's promo pictures is 1) not easily reachable (the hotel is up on the hill and no way to reach it by car from elsewhere!) and 2) very small and inconvenient. We used it only once, and went with the car to other beaches (not in the nearby, though). The hotel amenities are fine but a renovation wouldn't hurt.
