"We spent three weeks in Numa’s spacious and beautiful apartment. Still decorated as it was when his mother lived there, the apartment had a warm and authentic feel. Check in was very welcoming and smooth. The apartment is outfitted very well with everything we needed. The terraces were wonderful and we slept very well in the beds. Finally, the location was beyond compare. Located in a small and ancient street (which was actually washed with lemony power washing several times a week by the city and cleaned daily) it was just around the corner from the incredible main piazza with cathedral, fountain and Palazzo Priori. The location is also central in the centro storico for all the many sights in Perugia. Perugia is kept wonderfully clean, is very visitor-friendly with clear signage and brass information plaques in English and Italian in front of all historic buildings and sights throughout. A small and frequent train goes from the centro storico to the train station in minutes and a series of escalators takes you conveniently to the bus station, so touring Umbria without a car from here is easy. I recommend buying an Umbria Go pass, which allows you to use ALL methods of public transportation. So convenient! Loved our stay in Perugia and at Numa’s wonderful apartment!"
