"Beautifully appointed older hotel. Breakfast is quite nice as is afternoon coffee although the gratis afternoon coffee applies only to cafe americano I quickly learned. The location is great with lots going on near the hotel. Landmark destinations such as The Prado and Retiro Park are less than a half hour walk. My room overlooked Gran Via so it was fun to people watch from my balcony. And the windows had electronically controlled shutters that eliminated all outside light and noise at night. Great place if you want to be in the center of all the activity."

"Superb service from check in to departure. Everyone friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooftop pool always spotless clean. Great waiting staff by pool. Good food for lunch and snacks. Superb ambiance in the evenings. Room was large, clean and perfect for us. Breakfast fine. Good choice. Always being replaced. Tables kept clean."

"We stayed at the Only You Atocha twice. The location is by Atocha station, El Retiro and the Museums, which was perfect for us. We walked into center city for other attractions. Everyone was lovely. We were frustrated when we wanted dinner and rooftop (which is really lovely) was closed for a special event and a waitress didn’t know what all was available but the manager stepped in and was fantastic. The layout of the place is different. We really liked the hotel."

"Amazing and friendly staff…we arrived early on a morning train. Room was ready early after waiting a short while in comfortable lobby bar. Great location. Across street Reina Sophia and couple blocks from train station. Will stay here again."
