"This is a very old motel, poorly maintained. However, it is nestled up against an incredibly beautiful beach, right outside your door. I would stay there again."

"My husband and I used to stay here all the time when we had to come through for work. This last experience WILL BE the last. The bathroom smelled entirely of urine. We had to run down to the closest store and buy cleaning products to get rid of the odor. We also bought blankets bc there are visible stains on the top cover, if you can call it that. The tv barely functions, it’s on the dimmest setting which you cannot adjust. You also can’t add subtitles. There was a huge cockroach crawling on the side wall of the room that we had to kill. I understand a bug once in a while when you are in or near woods, but with everything else, the whole stay was just gross."

"The unit was not ready when we arrived even after the appointed arrival time. The unit was dirty, needed repairs/painting, outdated, furniture smelled, popcorn ceilings falling off, bath linens were dingy & needed to be replaced. On Monday, a construction crew started tearing up fencing around pool area and the wooden paths. All we heard was a chainsaw & other equipment. We were unable to use the pool. The host should have been transparent about this. We moved out on Monday after finding another property more suitable to our liking. Fortunately we were refunded our unused nights & cleaning fee. I find it hard to believe they didn’t know the construction was to be taking place as stated by the onsite property manager. The photos of the property were misleading. We will never stay at this property again."

"This condo is delightful. It appears to have been completely remodeled. The entire space was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We appreciated that everything (i.e. switches) is labeled. The beds were comfortable. THE LOCATION IS FANTASTIC. You can see the beach from the rear of the house with no obstructions. From the rear door you walk down steps and along a boardwalk to reach the beach. The condo is near the end of the public part of the island, not far from the state park. For this reason, there were less people around than if you are in the middle of the island near the lighthouse. The pool is large and well maintained.We have already made reservations for our next trip to stay here again. The only minor negative to note is that there is only one space to park under the condo. There is not additional parking on the property. "

"We loved our long weekend trip to St. George island and this condo was perfect for our 1 year anniversary trip! We booked last minute so had to bring our fur babies with us and it was the perfect set up for that.The location to the beach was a short easy walk.The kitchen had all necessities for cooking. It was a great place and we will definitely be back! Also, thank you George for letting use your beach chairs! "

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach house was in an absolutely fabulous location — the beach was beautiful, and the access could not have been easier or more convenient. The area itself was peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were hoping for in a beach getaway. The location alone made the trip enjoyable.Unfortunately, the house itself was clearly in need of significant maintenance and updating. The pool was dirty upon arrival, with noticeable sand and debris, missing tiles, broken concrete around the area, and a loose or damaged pool light cover that did not work properly. While the interior of the home was generally clean, many parts of the property felt worn down and neglected.The sheets were honestly the worst I have ever slept on — very low quality and seemingly as old as the house itself. There were also uneven or missing flooring sections in both the interior and exterior areas, which further added to the feeling that the property has not been properly maintained.Overall, the beauty of the location and beach helped make up for the condition of the house, and we still enjoyed the area very much. However, given the condition of the property and the maintenance issues, I would not choose to stay here again."
