"Discovered Carpinteria quite by accident while road-tripping. It has much of the charm of Santa Barbara at half the price. From brewery to dinner to breakfast we found great food and a lively atmosphere. The hotel was attractive, the staff friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking and is walkable to downtown. Most rooms have a balcony. Ours was over a lovely courtyard. The beds were quite comfortable. I would stay here again when visiting the area."

"This is a cheap option to be in close proximity to the beach and downtown. You may want to bring your own cleaners/wipes to clean the room thoroughly, my dog dribbled some water on the the floor and when I wiped it up I found the cloth to be dirty, room/floor had not been mopped. However as a pet owner I am grateful to be able to bring my dog. And, I was grateful that it was flooring and not carpeting. "
