"Very cute house that is nicely updated. Location is great and is walkable to the Hot Springs and everything downtown. We didn't use our car once after getting to the rental. There was some confusion with the bunk beds, as there is one set of twin bunk beds in the room, and when I asked we were told they were one set of full, so we had to make due with some tighter sleeping arrangements with 4 kids. "Very nice kitchen, large spaces, great location to Basalt and ski areas. Completely satisfied our needs, nice to find a basic house in ski country. Figuring out the heat and thermostats took a little time, and the lights above the kitchen counter never came on. Few wall hangings, decorations, or mirrors. The property management was very friendly, laid back, and made you feel like family! "I don’t really like dealing with property managers as I feel it takes the intimacy out of the booking process but the place really was a perfect complement of the natural landscapes. You can feel the history. You are in someones backyard which is kind of off putting but overall an excellent choice for travelers."
