"We enjoyed this cozy room with its own little patio that was pretty private. Unfortunately it was raining so we weren't able to enjoy that. The room was quite chilly and had a wall heater that didn't seem connected to the thermostat but worked, just slowly. The owners should be sure that heat is turned on before guests are assigned to a particular room. There was nice quilt to add to the bed which was comfortable. A quaint place that we would return to."

"Our stay here was fantastic. Michael, the owner, provided excellent communication and was always available with any questions. The location makes for an easy ski in and ski out option and building is new with great views of the mountain. We are a family of four and we were very comfortable. Very reasonably priced and steps from the Snowmass Village. Amenities like the pool, hot tub and fitness gym were nice add ons. Could not ask for anything more."

"The Aspen Valley Lodge is an older property but well-kept. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but offers a nice assortment of options with fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, coffee, etc. The first-floor dining and living areas are comfortable and nice, with a central fireplace. It is near the bus stop for Snowmass and other mountains and is within walking distance of Ajax, but I wouldn't recommend carrying your skis daily. Close to restaurants and downtown shopping. "We did not need ti contact the hosts during our stay. The cabin was exactly as advertised. Did not miss having internet access. It was a great getaway!"

"I don’t really like dealing with property managers as I feel it takes the intimacy out of the booking process but the place really was a perfect complement of the natural landscapes. You can feel the history. You are in someones backyard which is kind of off putting but overall an excellent choice for travelers."
