"Great location for walking and driving. The property itself was lovely. Parking was great with an elevator from the garage to your floor. Front desk was incredible, gave us warm cookies upon check in. Toiletries smelled incredible. I would stay here again! "
"My daughter and I took a 4 day trip from Ottawa to St John's in mid-July. Very impressed with the hotel. All staff was attentive and courteous. Room was very clean, comfy mattresses and pillows, everything looked brand new. Lovely room decor. Our room faced the harbour exit, amazing view. Everything in the room is operated from a panel where you insert your key card - lights, fan and AC, blinds. High-tech. Made me feel like I was in Japan. :) The Terre restaurant downstairs is totally a 5-star experience - and I'm a very picky critic. The only downside is there are not many breakfast/ snack/ sandwich places around, and the one in the hotel lobby is extremely expensive.
The hotel is on Water Street which is closed off to traffic and completely pedestrian during the summer. The famous Jelly Bean houses are within walking distance.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and we recommend this to anyone visiting St John's. Thank you!"
