"We had a great stay. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a quick walk to the beach. We took advantage of the hotel bringing chairs & umbrellas to the beach and setting them up for us. We also took the shuttle downtown a couple of times. Very short wait for pickup. Everything worked out great."

"The Ocean Club was a great, last-minute choice for my husband and I for a getaway weekend. The location is facing the beach, where beach chairs and umbrellas await, and a reasonable walk to the shopping street. All staff members were friendly and accommodating and the DJ at the pool kept up a great Playlist. Having said that, this is not a 5 star property (or restaurant) although the price for this weekend would suggest it. Just saying."

"Staying at the Dormer House was exactly what we could hope for on a vacation. Nancy and the entire staff were incredibly hospitable and kind, the property was quaint and comfortable, and the breakfast was superior. Our stay was extremely relaxing and comfortable - I couldn't recommend it more!"

"This is a beautiful property with an excellent location. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops, plus the beach is directly across the street. So easy! A parking space is included in the garage and we also found street parking at the location to be relatively easy. The home was very clean & fresh. Everything looks brand new- with the exception of the living room sofa (not old or unattractive, just well-loved; its very comfortable though). The fact that so many amenities were included was a huge help (dish soap and detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, paper towel, toilet paper, etc.). And linens were included which is a HUGE plus! Another lovely benefit was having beach chairs and beach tags included. Our kids loved the ping pong table and the outdoor hangout space. It was very thoughtfully designed. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch to enjoy the ocean view while sipping tea and reading. People watching is fun too. :)If I were to be nitpicky, the beds & pillows were not comfortable. We were only there 3 nights, so we dealt with it. We also had a family with young children staying in the unit above us. You can hear drawers opening and chairs moving and especially kids running the length of the unit back and forth in the early morning hours. I guess that's the luck of the draw- you never know who your neighbors will be (which is true at a hotel, too). Not everyone knows how to be considerate neighbors. Overall, we loved it. We will definitely return!"

"This place was more like home than hotel. Friendly hostess and attention to detail was seen in every moment we were there. Had the pleasure of an amazing afternoon nap on the rocking chairs on the front porch. Watched the bunnies play while having my coffee every morning too. This was perfect."
