Inn By The Sea

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (274)
"Not a great experience. One night stay and booked the
beach
suite to be able to enjoy the view. Would have been nice to know there would Be a wedding and reception with loud music right off our balcony. Spilt some water on the floor opening the fridge right after check in and wiped up with a white towel and the towel was black. I’m guessing floors were not washed. I’m not one to leave negative reviews but I feel for what this place costs, they need to step it up! "

"This cute little carriage house was built into the passageway behind the main house and the barn. It comfortably fit our party of 3 adults with a nice size kitchen, a single bathroom, and spacious seating areas both inside and out. Our flight was delayed, and when we arrived, there was yogurt and fruit in the fridge waiting for us. There is a stand selling ice cream, burgers, and lobster rolls within walking distance, and the Cape Elizabeth
beach
is a short drive away. Lovely stay!"

Lovely Cape Elizabeth Family Home 3 to 5 miles to Portland & Beaches 3,700 sq ft

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (28)
"We were all grateful for the comfort and ease Liz and John's home offered us over the long wknd. Especially appreciated the comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, convenient location to beaches and running trails, and the personal touches - feels like you're in a real home not a house purchased solely to rent to vacationers. Working with Liz in the lead up to our stay was a pleasure; super responsive and accommodating. Recommend if you're looking to gather with a big group."

"This property is a hidden gem. Crescent
beach
and nearby Kettle cove is a short walk down a trail from the home. The property has beautiful ocean views and a fenced in yard with a lovely patio that is perfect for kids to run around. The home is clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for our family. Owner was very responsive and took pride in the guest experience. Portland is a short drive away! We would absolutely stay at this property again."

"Our first time visiting and staying in Maine. The location was convenient and close to shopping and beaches. The sun room was awesome! AC would have made the warmer nights easier to bear with. Quiet, friendly and safe neighborhood, would definitely recommend others to stay here."

"After not being able to see much of our family the last few years we wanted a special place to get together, 1 Salt Spray Lane was it. Shea and his family have everything you could need for a memorable vacation in an incredible location.
