"We had a lovely holiday in Poole, The Antelope Hotel is well placed for the quay, not the best for the older generation as there was a lot of stairs and no lift, I think the hotel needs an up grade, the staff were all lovely and friendly, and you could not fault the food, lovely garden, lively area,and they do allow dogs."

"We were welcomed and shown our room which was very comfortable, especially the beds. It's a lovely pub right in the centre of town and a minute's walk from the ferry. Only one key between the two of us. We're not a couple so may have wanted to go home at different times which would've been awkward. The bathroom layout was weird. The bath was placed under a sloping ceiling so you couldn't stand up for a shower, and the door didn't lock. Nice hot water though."

"Ideally situated for a good walk between Sandbanks and Bournemouth. The food is lovely and has a good choice of gluten free meals, which was good for me, this also applied to the breakfast. The rooms could do with a bit of redecorating but perfectly adequate. Note that if you are a night owl or early riser you have to access the room by the fire exit stairs leading from the car park as the middle door to the pub and front door is locked as soon as pub closes and before breakfast. "So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant).
