"I booked 2 rooms , 1 of them for my 17 yr old granddaughter, i did ask if we could have rooms close , but 1 was on the top one was on the ground floor , when we walked into my granddaughters it smelt wonderful and was nice and clean , but when we went up to ours it smelt of stale cigarettes, was awful i opened both windows , the shower made such a awful noisy, the quilts were made for summer so we all were so very cold , i was very disappointed, was ok for the one night , if we were staying...

"If I could rate our stay 10000/10 I would. Staff friendliness and kindness went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was impressive and the bed made us feel like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was lovely as well. Also it’s a 15 minute walk to Burley Village. My cousin and I loved our stay at Moorhill House!"

"Excellent stay for our trip to The New Forest. The room was cosy, had everything that was needed from table n chairs, two comfy chairs, very comfy bed and pillows. Iron and board, towels, wash flannel, all wash/cleaning equipment, mini cooker, toaster, pint milk in fridge. Everything was perfect. I would say though that coyld have done with a better iron as it didn't seem to iron properly. Apart from that the stay was excellent. Would definately recommend. "

"Room was very clean and perfect sized for my family. Only one problem at night , my next door neighbour was so loud when they were talking, even we could hear clearly their conversations. Its not Red Lion's fault. People need to consider others. The host was very very friendly and professional as well. We had supper and breakfast. Both were very good. We enjoyed the food. "

"I arrived late, but Chris had given me info on how to access my room, which made it very easy. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I needed to leave earlyish and the time for my breakfast was brought forward. The breakfast was a really good, with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection. Also, the hotel is conveniently close to the train station. I would definitely stay again if I find myself back in Bournemouth "

"Very basic but good value. We had to ask for the oven to be cleaned. Despite sending in a repair man (eventually) the washer dryer were never usable. TV and WiFi were excellent. John did his best to help but every communication took 24 hrs. Despite all this we had a good stay. The location is perfect. "

"What a stay, absolutely fabulous! Apartment spotless and everything you need for a home from home stay in a peaceful and central location. One very happy doggy as a short stroll to the beautiful sandbanks beach and ferry to shell beach etc. also lovely restaurants nearby!
