"It is definitely an older property, it looks like they are starting to do some sort of remodel but could not tell what was going to be remodeled or how much. Very dated but very nice staff."

"The website needs to be updated. Part of the hotel looked abandoned and at first we thought it was closed. We chose this hotel because of location to a wedding, and the beautiful photos of the pool and jacuzzi that we talked up for the grandkids. Sadly, the pool and jacuzzi were inoperable. When discussed with the front desk we were told that the pump had blown and the owner hadn't gotten around to getting it fixed. By the look of it, the owner hadn't gotten around to it for a long while. A maintenance guy told us there were three owners and they couldn't agree om the pool/jacuzzi situation. Website also did not mention that a $100 would be held until after cleaning staff had gone through the room. Found out once we got there. I understand this policy but a heads up would have been nice. Other hotels I have stayed at that have this policy were always up front upon making a reservation. When checking out the front desk lady was not very inviting, or warm. No eye contact , didn't ask about our stay, as if she knew how the place was. When asked about when I would receive the $100, all she said was 7-10 working days. Will note our room was very clean, beds were comfortable. Not impressed with staff or upkeep of property. Will not be staying here again or recommending"

"Stayed here for the evening after visiting the wineries. Check-in was easy and the we very thankful to the proactive message sent directing us to the correct place via Google Maps. We didn’t get a chance to dip in the pool but it looked clean and welcoming. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. Breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning - which is very nice and was delicious! And the views…breathtaking! Would recommend and stay again!"

"My husband and I found this little gem quite by accident. We absolutely fell in love with the place! The peace, beauty and all the amenities. We are taking all of our children and grandchildren there for a couple of days soon."

"Every one was incredibly helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back. Rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. Only comment would be for more food/resturants to be available later at night."

Forest Cottage Large Group Retreat 27 beds Sleeps 47

"Our stay was spectacular. The house is an incredible size, and the front yard is huge! Plenty of parking. We ran into a problem with some doors being jammed, but the host communicated that keys were available. There is also a sign at the front door with that information, and other helpful cleanup information. Overall, a really great experience. I look forward to staying at this cottage again!!"

Mother Lode Motel

"It was passable, but don't set your expectations very high. The carpet didnt lay flat, and the flooring by the tub curling up. It's seen better days. The breakfast is only a prepackaged Svenhard's Danish. No prepared coffee with breakfast so you have to make it yourself in the room with the small machine. Next time we go wine tasting in the area we'll be looking for something a little better."
