is very good, however the pool was too chilly to go right in. They need to raise the heater at least 5 degrees. The hotel had nightly entertainment that was very good.The staff is friendly, the hotel lobby is beautiful, the rooms need updating, but for the one of the last one of the operating Catskill Hotels, it was nostalgic."

Communication with property manager was prompt and professional. Kitchen had a few left-over groceries and supplies in the cabinets and frig... not really a problem but not ideal. Key...

"We were in town for a family event and four of us stayed at Axel and Roy’s. We could not have found a more perfect home. The amenities were plentiful, with a welcome basket of snacks! The home was impeccably clean and well-kept, inside and out. The outdoor fire pit was a fun extra! It is walking distance to town, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area."
