"Walkable from the train station, about 45 minutes walk from Anfield (we attended a gig). Felt quite safe around the area. Missing obvious places to eat nearby, but we could’ve investigated that more or asked at the reception so that’s not a mark down.

"The house was up a side street in residential suburb Wavertree, very quiet, very clean, recently decorated and well looked after. Comfortable beds, good shower. Lots of buses into city centre. Nick was a most attentive host, both before hand answering our questions and he also came round to get the DVD player working when we couldn’t. Highly recommended."

Clean, comfy, near the airport. This building was the old airport and it has retained its wonderful art nouveau vibes. Vintage aeroplanes round the back.
