"If you’re planning to escape the city’s chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. The staff, including Eric and Carla, are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful.
The only inconvenience is that it’s located far from everything and everyone. If you plan on doing any activities in Costa Rica, make sure to plan ahead. Moving around there would be easy with a car.

"I really enjoyed the location of Hotel South Beach as the beach itself was less rocky then going south or north. There is a surfing school right on the beach front and the staff at the school was so amazing. The staff at the hotel were extremely kind, fun and always pleasant. The rooms are basic, but that is all I needed in this wonderful environment. It is walking distance to the down town, El Miro hike and the famous Jaco sign...I even extended my holiday!!
