"The hotel itself was pretty, and the buffet was surprisingly excellent. There’s a putt putt course there, but they don’t even turn the lights on at night. So don’t plan on using it after the sunsets. The Mexican restaurant that you have to have a reservation for isn’t really worth the time or effort. The main buffet is beautiful and has tons of options. Very family friendly. We stayed in one of the Casitas, they packed so much furniture in there you can barely move around it. "We chose this resort to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and while there were some positive aspects, our overall experience did not meet the expectations of a luxury five-star property. Upon arrival, we waited about 10–15 minutes before being greeted. During the booking process, the hotel had been informed that we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary as a same-sex couple. At check-in, we were asked if we wanted to change to a room with two beds instead of one. We found this comment disappointing and somewhat inappropriate given the information already provided in our reservation. Another major downside was the lack of an introduction to the resort. At other luxury five-star hotels, staff usually take the time to explain the property, point out the pools, restaurants, amenities, opening hours, and answer any questions. None of that happened here, which made the arrival feel impersonal. The resort is also very family-oriented, with many children throughout the property. The staff was wonderful with families and kids, but if you’re a couple looking for a quiet or romantic getaway, this may not be the best choice. The buildings are beginning to show their age, and some areas feel worn compared to what we expected from a luxury resort. On a positive note, the restaurants were excellent and the dining experience was one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, while families will likely enjoy this resort, we don’t feel it delivers the level of service, attent"

"Lovely adults only hotel with two pools. Across the road from the beach and lots of local restaurants and bars and shops! Great sea view from our room, amazing to wake up to the sound of the waves. I would highly recommend renting electric bikes and exploring the local area, lots of bike lanes for safe travel. We used the front infinity pool mostly as the beds were so comfortable (no charge for these). Would also recommend going all inclusive - well worth the money when you think of drinks and food. The cocktails included were not all fantastic but lots to try, and beers and wines available too. La Boomba was a favourite for a night cap! Inclusive food was varied and more than enough. The hotel also had two nights of entertainment which was pleasant as unexpected. Would be better if they informed us of this when we arrived, as some people missed out as they were unaware. We did venture out once during our week stay and enjoyed a local steak. Will be returning soon!"
