"I arrived after 5.00pm after a long drive from London. I was given the key by the lady who was friendly to room 11 which was an annex building room. I asked for a WIFI code she gave me the details. On entry into the room it was very cold so I had to turn up the heating. Still didn't make any difference. The WIFI didn't function. I went back to speak to her about this issue. She apologised. I asked her about food she mentined they had closed the bar etc and if I wanted food would need to drive to Wincanton - 7.7 miles away to get a variety of food. Due to this I decided I was not going to stay put. I had to drive to Glastonbury and paid for a premier inn for the night instead. I vehemently request a refund please as not happy about that either."

"disabled parking 2 very small spaces in an enclosed courtyard quite tight .hot tub was out of order. lots of steps as well as the mentioned creaky wooden stairs. check-in is right opposite the swimming pool entrance in the same aera as club entrance so wet & slippy floor and crowded blocking access. room was drab and dated empty for the size .noise level of neighbours and any movement in hallway echoed. bed was very uncomfortable lumpy. shower didn't drain and overflowed. wooden toilet seat that pushed flush button when seated."

"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."

"We had a lovely overnight stay here on 16/17 February. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the continental breakfast of cheese, salami, fruit and toast was delicious. We must mention the lady looking after the place for the owners - sorry that I have forgotten her name - she was super friendly and showed us the skittle alley and talked about the darts teams and the social activities they have planned. Would definitely stay here again when next in the area."

"This is a really lovely house. We had our family Christmas there so did a fair bit of cooking and entertaining in the large, very well equipped kitchen/diner. The whole house is high spec and immaculate with so many personal touches. Nothing has been overlooked. When we arrived there was a Christmas tree, some provisions and lots of wood for the woodburner. The weather was cold but the house is warm with underfloor heating downstairs and plenty of hot water. You can walk straight out into the surrounding countryside, and there is also a village pub and a very nice farm-shop and cafe nearby. I really appreciated all the clear and friendly communication beforehand. It must also be lovely in summer. A memorable Christmas for us. Thank you. "
