"Lovely property just outside of Huonville and great base to explore entire southern area. The house is very comfortable and clean. Alpacas and small wallabies abound. Split system aircon would be great summer/winter but fire kept us warm and provided a lovely atmosphere."

"The house is in a quiet street on the high side of the road (steep driveway). All bedrooms and living areas are on the second floor. Spacious holiday home with two living areas, the kitchen/dining/living area has great views onto the river. We found a well stocked kitchen on arrival. Fresh bread, milk, cookies, apples and some lollies were a lovely surprise. A big Woolies/Coles is approx 5 mins drive away, and it's only about a 15-20min drive into Hobart."

"Place is good and clean. Apart from it, it's a very Disappointing stay. BBQ is rusty however agent gave the heads up about it. But No Wi-Fi internet for the entire period of the stay. Although we informed the agent about the issue, they have not made any attempt to fix it, except tried to fool us by telling various lies. NOT RECOMMENDED."

"We visited Hobart as we (6 family members) were the cheer squad for our great niece who was representing the Vic U 15 Regional Cricket team. All the ovals were in close proximity. The facilities were excellent with the massage chair, spacious kitchen & utensils plus a few freebie gifts from Sharlene. "This lovely clean home was a great base for exploring Mount Field National Park and also the Maydena Bike park is next door. Great as a family/ group stay. Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. As a couple we just closed off the other 3 rooms and it felt cosy. Very warm with lots of heating options. ( Electric heaters in every room, air conditioner and log wood fire?) Great washer and dryer for cleaning muddy hiking gear. Lovely timber kitchen table. Friendly and helpful...
