That’s certainly the case regarding a visit to our abode.
Overlooking the Derwent River with a backdrop of green hills stretching out into the distance. Let the fresh, clean Tasmanian air wash away all your city stress as you relax and sip on a local wine while taking in the vista from “Serenity”
All this and just a 10 minute drive to MONA or 10 minutes more to the centre of Hobart.

The space
Relax Refresh Recharge.
A tastefully appointed, cosy and homely space welcomes you as you step inside this modern open plan country house.
Boasting a comfy lounge area and a well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm.
Take in the river view through the huge windows of the light filled space or watch the local wildlife grazing on the front lawn. Up stairs to the mezzanine bedroom you'll find a comfy queen bed with electric blanket. Also a fold out single bed if needed
which guests have to make up themselves. All linen is supplied.
Down stairs we find another queen bed which conveniently folds away into the wall. Heating and cooling is supplied by a couple of air conditioners on both levels. Natural timber is prominent with a spiral staircase wrapped around a polished tree trunk heading up to the mezzanine floor. A high chair and portacot is available for your convenience.
Please note. The log fire in the lounge room is not in service. Absolutely NO FIRES to be lit outside on the property. No fire pits, no Bonfires.
