The property was self contained, decor was a little dated but clean comfortable and well maintained. In a beautiful spot, the Derwent river is just at the end of the garden. Friendly hosts.

Loved the setting, right on the river. Very quiet and peaceful (except for the jetski). Only negative would be the lack of washing facilities. Next visit to Tas, will definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful location. We felt so welcomed on our arrival. Wishing we could have stayed more than the one night, so we will definitely be staying again in the future. Fantastic place to recharge the batteries. So quiet considering it is just off a busy street.

We arrived late at night but still greeted with a warm welcome the apartment was absolutely beautiful and so well appointed !! It was only when we woke up the next morning to find it was set in the most beautiful river side setting with beautiful gardens and a little over water private boat ramp!! Next time we will book for 4 nights and bring our fishing rods

A LITTLE GEM

Our stay was enjoyable. We stayed in the Derwent cottage and were not excited on arriving at the property. The surrounding from the front did not look inviting, however, we were pleasantly surprised on entering the cottage. The hosts were thoughtful and considerate especially with stocking of the kitchen. The inside was clean and modern, my only issue was with some cobwebs around some lights-spiders freak me out! Also, the TV could only offer the local channels. My husband surprised us with a visit on our last night but they didn’t make me pay anything extra. Overall, a very pleasant trip.
