"I really loved staying at this property. It felt like home away from home. It was very peaceful, staff were super friendly and caring and breakfast and dinner was good. One thing that will stick with me was the treatment I received. Staff always checked if I had a pleasant stay and how my day was going or if I needed anything. The overall experience for me was a 9.5 out of ten (There's always room for improvement)."

"Michelle was the best host I’ve had in my travels yet, and the hotel was perfect. Everything was clean and updated. the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the AC was cold. I had challenges figuring out transportation to my next location and Michelle was more than accommodating even making calls and getting quotes and arranging cabs to airport for me since my phone was not local. I was also lucky to join in on the friday karaoke night in her restaurant/bar right beside the hotel. Haha...

"Main problem was ongoing construction of two new cottages only a few feet from the single existing cottage. Savy lodge owners care about client comfort and do not rent when renovating. Lighting along boardwalk poor and I tripped over a fresh 3 ft tall gravel mound ( construction) walking to our car in the dark. The manager did not show us the cottage upon our arrival as all other 13 places we stayed in Belize did."

"We arrived in the evening with another couple (we rented both Casitas) and there was only a key for one of them. Contacted the owner and they sent someone to bring the key to the other Casita about an hour later. The Casita had not been cleaned and we had to wait for it to be cleaned before we could bring our bags in.
